You Can Afford a Business Advisory Review... Why…

It's not uncommon for many businesses and associations to worry about the costs associated with a Business Advisory review, especially if they lack the necessary expertise or resources to tackle their challenges. This is particularly true for start-up organizations that may not have the financial cushion to absorb potential losses. However, investing in a Business Advisory review early on can lead to significant returns down the road. That's why I offer my services as a Personal Business Advisor, tailored to meet the needs and budget of regional businesses and associations looking to tackle their challenges head-on.

As the founder of the company, I am sure you initially took charge and delegated different roles to various people without having a formal plan to change the structure in the near future. While this may have been a short-term solution to fill gaps and handle day-to-day operations, it may not be the best approach for long-term success. It's important to develop a clear organisational structure to achieve the best results for your company in the long term. You must be ready to develop strong foundations and handle your business success. Now is the time for review and building a talent scout mentality to be ready for growth.

This is exactly why I started my consultancy services. I learned on the job running my own business for 25+ years and I realised that I missed opportunities that came along due to the lack of talent within my team, I had not planned ahead. I learned from that mistake and carried out a review of everything – personnel, structure and resources, which resulted in success and zero missed opportunities.

A hard task is building that talented team and being comfortable putting existing team members into different roles if they lack the skills needed as your organisation grows. I recommend reviewing your team on a regular basis and carryout training that will draw out talents that may be dormant in your existing employees.

A needs analysis can provide valuable information to help leaders and owners identify areas where improvements can be made, and ultimately create a more robust and successful organisation. By taking advantage of business advisory services, you will gain access to expert insights, best practices, and strategies plus talent spotting that can help you take your company or association to the next level.

Organizational structure is an essential aspect of any business, and it's vital to have a well-defined structure in place, regardless of the company's age or scale. It acts as a backbone for the organisation and helps streamline operations, improve communication, and facilitate decision-making. Regularly reviewing and updating the organisational structure is equally important to ensure it aligns with the company's goals and objectives and adapts to changes in the industry and market.

My passion is sharing my experiences, bumps in the road and successes to help other groups to be successful and avoid time wasting challenges. I hope to share my experience with chamber members and support my local business and association community.

As a highly trained and proven leader, I have worked with major global companies, leading private enterprises, and nonprofits across the UK, America, and Europe to build my expertise. My hands-on…
