Interviews can be quite daunting but they can also be great learning opportunities. It all depends what you do after the interview.
You might celebrate, irrespective of the result, thinking 'thank goodness that's over!'
However, if you are wise, you will reflect long and hard on your performance and what you could have done better. Consider the following points.
1 Your CV, covering e-mail or approach e-mail clearly did their job and got you an interview, but most interviewers will probe the accuracy of your written presentation - so did you manage to get all your relevant achievements across?
2 As an interviewee you need to exercise some degree of control over the proceedings so that you are able to put across the points you wish to make - so did you feel you were in control of the interview?
3 It's important to display the courtesy and initiative of finding out about the company before any interview - so did you manage to illustrate clearly that you had done your company homework?
